What a Bunch of Mugs

I'm running the Modo 501 free trial with a view to upgrading my toolset, particularly with regard to base mesh building and rendering capabilities.

They have a great tutorial to get you started in which you build and texture this simple mug, add logos (there's supposed to be one ready made but it's not available, so I cobbled this together) and render.

I'm really impressed so far - this image with HDRI global illumination, rendered DoF and the maximum setting of 1024 AA samples (ulp) took just 10 and half minutes to render out this size on my quad core machine.

Now to see if I can get my ZBrush sculpts loaded up....
